    I haven’t found another way to message you, so here:
    I just finished reading Sebastian. Marry in haste, repent at leisure is first recorded in print by William Congreve, 1762.

    I found the last paragraph ending abrupt. Yes, it’s an ending, everything is done, I just expected a paragraph or two when they get home. Yes, the happily ever was set just a bit earlier. I can see them driving on the road home, a few lines, closing music, scenery and then roll credits. Just me, of course.

    I got tripped up by the bit about boys coming north for the sun and jobs, etc. Got me!

    My BF introduced me to your writing because he read The Price of Freedom. He said “It said things to me that I wish my parents had said to me.”…”Some it is hard to read because of my …whatever. [childhood issues] But I’ll get there.”
